Condado de Alhama Golfing in March

Thought we would bring everyone a view of La Isla in March. Took this picture yesterday morning and as you can see it was very cloudy out with hints of sunshine and snow on the mountains.

When we went to shoot the HI5 TEE TIME a few hours later the clouds had disappeared and the sun was doing its job. As you saw on the stream of the HI5 tournament, taking place on our Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course there was snow on the mountains. When the day was over the Sun Set looked like this, ”It’s all Good!”.

We’ve had a little rain the past few days but as usual the sun comes back strong. Yes, Spring is in the air and the weather is doing it’s thing. Golfers are out on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in their shorts and sunglasses, enjoying the sport that so many fly in from Northern Europe to play. With the Sierra Espuna as a back drop the views from any where on the course is picture perfect.

Last nights Live Pod Cast from Polaris Worlds newest Golf Resort, Condado de Alhama, featured Jill and Terry. These two Americans living on the Costa Calida in Spain highlighted some of their favorite places to visit. The Podcast was a collection of pictures and descriptions of places to see and go in their area of Spain.

As you can see, Mother Nature had her way last night. It was such a site to look out and see the mountain tops frosted over. If you are on site or living here, it is time to get out and snap some shots.

CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Christmas is just around the corner and here in our Region of Murcia, Spain, Mother Nature has begun her part in decorating the local mountains. In the distance we spotted snow around the Lorca mountains and as we came back from Alhama de Murcia with the weeks groceries, it tried to snow on us. The clouds are settling down on top of all the hills tonight and tomorrow should reveal if she had her way with spreading the white stuff all over our mountain tops.

Yes, they have put up the signs for each hole on the Jack Nickolaus Signature Golf Course. They are surveying for what appears to be a fence line around the course. We will get snap shots of these as it develops.We talked about the golf course on Condado Tv last night were we covered resort news, and the castles of Mula and Pliego. Where are we?

Our live podcast from Condado this week featured Hotel Mariposa and our experience of the Quad biking tour. We had a fabulous day and would recommend it to anyone, young and old. Very safe, very controlled to your level of comfort, and scenery you couldn’t see from a car makes this day something you should add to your must do list.
