Construction is beginning soon on the brand new facility that will offer a total range of beauty treatments.

The new large facility will offer, 3 beauty treatment rooms, 4 hairdressers stations including for the gents a barber, a full nail bar and much more. Imagine having a full spa day on Condado De Alhama.. your wish has been granted.

The owners, Leanne and Ian Croakrin residents in Naranjos 7 are very excited to be investing in Condado and into this new venture. Leanne has been the resident beautician on Condado for over a year at The Condado Club and you will know her husband Ian from the Condado Kids Club. They feel it is time to expand and spread their wings and they are looking forward to serving the communities beauty needs for years to come.

Paramount Alhama De Murcia this week received it´s final full approval from the Alhama Council to commence with construction.

Jesus Samper, still see´s the opening of the park to be in 2015. He remains confident that he can meet this deadline despite the delayed start.

Flagship Projects (Premursa) has assured also in local newspapers and television that investors have already given the ‘yes’ to provide capital to the theme park in Alhama.

It has been announced that next week Premursa will meet with the four developers who have shown, in writing, their interest in performing the works (Dragados, OHL, FCC and Ferrovial), which will be given until June 30th to submit their deals. “We have set July 15th to determine the winner of the development works” so that said, work could begin in late August or early September. Samper explained that the works are divided into three parts: the special plan of infrastructure and access, ground movement and urbanization LifeStyle Center and finally, the development, implementation and earthmoving for what will be the Paramount Park.

The design of the entire Paramount Park is now 95 percent complete, in fact Jesus Samper explained that “for ten days I was in Los Angeles where I did a virtual tour of what will be the park “.

The American company Paramount love Alhama De Murcia, comparing it to California and said that, in some respects Alhama is even better. With the mountains and the sea in close proximity, the topography and the climate is very similar also.

Will Alhama De Murcia be Spain´s California in just a few years?

We will have to wait and see as the development of hotels, casinos and the Paramount theme park begin to take shape at the bottom of the Carrascoy mountain later this year.

The bus will now leave Condado de Alhama from the Al Kasar parking lot EVERY day at 10AM to take you to different regional destinations daily, Alhama, Cartagena, the port in Mazarron and into the city of Murcia for the market on Thursdays. Take a look at the timetable by clicking on the picture to enlarge it and make a date to take the bus. It is a valuable service and one that I am sure will be popular in the summer months.

Of all the markets in the area I have never been to the Murcia City market on Thursday, it is supposed to be very good and well worth a trip. Cartagena is a well known tourist destination but parking is a little difficult and can be expensive so taking the bus will be a perfect option to discover this wonderful city. The port of Mazarron has way too many good bars to risk driving, so another good option. The bus will actually go the the port of Mazarron twice a week so that you can now enjoy the restaurants and beach without hiring a car during your vacation.

La Cata has grown into it´s own during this past winter, with a great chef, plenty of trained staff and a new cocktail bar and outside lounge, they are looking and tasting great!

La Cata have found their place in the community as a really great restaurant offering everything from Paella, Fish, seafood, Burgers, Pasta, Steaks and other specialities. They really have something for everyone on their new menu. La Cata are also doing monthly gourmet nights, where they offer a set menu of Spanish speciality dishes with complimentary wines and cater to 50 pre booked guests. The next gourmet night is APRIL 25th. Don´t miss it.

The Menu will have 7 courses served with 5 complimentary wines from Bodega Luzon in Jumilla, Murcia. The meal including the 5 wines is only 20€ per person. You must e mail or call to make a reservation. These gourmet nights are very popular and always sell out.

The menu is a mixture of seafood, meats and vegetables, all expertly prepared and presented.

If you picked this week for your spring vacation at Condado De Alhama, you have picked well. The weather today was certainly warm enough to hit the beach and the temperatures are only going to get hotter as we go through this next week. Plenty of sunshine in the forecast for the next 10 days.

The sea is warming up fast and today there were plenty of people taking a dip. All the local restaurants were full and the atmosphere was one of summer. Bolnuevo has a new paseo spanning the full length of the beach from the Oasis bar to the Mazarron/Bolnuevo roundabout, a truly beautiful walk on a day like today.

This weeks weather for Condado De Alhama

Enjoy the sunshine and remember, it is always much hotter in the full sun so cover up..Ive seen a few horribly sunburned bodies already. According to the majority…the swimming pools on Condado are now warm enough to take a dip so staying cool on Condado will not be a problem.

It has been amazing to watch the bars and restaurants adapt throughout the last year to find their place within the community of Condado De Alhama. This week we will feature some of the changes that the different bars and restaurants have made to attract their own crowd. Each venue is offering more than last year and each have grown since last year, they have all made it through their first winter, are more prepared for their second summer and are all excited to see the crowds returning to the square.

Gone are most of the leather couches to be replaced by gaming tables to entertain the kids and lots of delicious ice cream…chilled coffee, hot coffee and iced cocktails.

And the crowds are coming, it appears to be very popular with the kids and the parents are enjoying it too, iced beer sitting in the sun, while the kids play. Can´t be bad!

Sabores welcome to your second summer at Condado De Alhama.

Sabores serve a traditional Spanish breakfast, brandy and tostada..with a little coffee.

Condado De Alhama is now on the local bus route which means that you will be able to travel by bus to connect with Alhama De Murcia, Murcia City and Mazarron.

This public transport option available on the resort is vital for guests and owners who either do not have a car or do not wish to drive on the local roads. The bus will leave from Al Kasar parking lot Monday through Saturday. Fares are between 6€ and 8€ return.

Mileniun and the presidents this term and last term and in particular John from Jardin 3, have worked long and hard to make this possible. Convincing Alhama that our residents and guests, want and need this service. Now we have it, it is up to you now to use the service to keep it.

We already have an airport shuttle service provided by Condado Excursions making your transit to the resort quick and easy and now with the bus service available as well, you will be able to choose whether or not you actually need to hire a car at all.

Taking the bus to Alhama De Murcia or Murcia city will link you with the vast train network Spain has to offer, from here you can go anywhere in Spain or in fact Europe….Spain s public transport is reliable, efficient and affordable.

A bus goes both ways, not only taking people from the resort but also bringing people to the resort. Enjoy the new service, The bus service will begin on Condado De Alhama April 15th from the AL KASAR parking lot, please, plan to take the bus!

Spring is well under way in Murcia, but in fact it is starting to feel like summer. The buzz on the resort is that the weather on Thursday will hit 29 degrees in the sun, perfect weather for your sunshine break in Spain. The resort has seen a record number of Easter visitors and last minute arrivals to escape the cold weather hitting most of Europe. This week the weather forecast is glorious, sunshine, warm temperatures and light winds.

The bars at Al Kasar are also feeling summer as they prepare for the long hot days by setting outside bars and canopies and brush up on their summer cocktails.

If your vacation is this week and you are arriving on Condado De Alhama, prepare to strip off and go home with a tan. The pools are still cool but…that is not stopping some from taking the plunge.

It is going to be the best summer yet on Condado De Alhama, with new restaurants, bars and new entertainment schedules all in place to make sure your vacation will be one to remember.

The supermarket on Condado De Alhama will operate a normal opening hour schedule throughout the Easter holidays. Opening all day Monday – Saturday and on Sundays opening until around mid-day. They are well stocked and the staff are ready to serve you. It is exciting to see the preparations for this holiday season. Already the resort has swelled in numbers as visitors begin to arrive with many many more arriving this week ready for the Easter weekend holiday.

The supermarket are not stocking Easter Eggs but you can buy your Easter eggs at Carols Condado Gift and Golf shop for only 5€ so everyone will have the chocolate they need for Easter Sunday.
