The Ibiza Party hosted by Polaris World was a HUGE success last night at Condado De Alhama. Crowds in their hundreds made their way down to Al Kasar for this event which kicked off at 10PM ish..  with a DJ that was set up outside next to the water feature at Al Kasar, White balloons decorated the water, Olive Trees were placed around the water and the Clover was draped in white silk, all this emphasizing the Ibiza theme for the night. The crowds that attended were also entertained by an excellent Saxophonist and GOGO dancers.

There was a cocktail bar set up outside that made wonderful cocktails for you once you made a trip to the bar and achieved a ticket. The bar was well staffed but was struggling with the demand and the turn out for the event.

The Party went all the way through till 6AM this morning when finally the last of the party goers made their way home to their apartments.

Overall, a brilliant night of free entertainment at Condado De Alhama, thumbs up all round!

Oh What A Night!

Tonight England and America go head to head in the world cup and you can catch it on the big screen in the Clover Bar tonight. The Clover Bar opens at 3PM so come on down and enjoy a couple of drinks before the action begins at 8PM.

We will be there flying our flag….a little alone in that one I feel.. for a night of fun and football.

Already England flags are flying on the resort so there should be a good crowd and good atmosphere for the event. See you there, we will be easily recognizable tonight with our stars and stripes.

The Clover bar at Polaris Worlds Condado De Alhama is now a NO smoking zone. This was something that was proposed by the presidents of Condado to keep the resort within the laws of Spain. The law says that if a premises is over a certain size it must provide a non smoking atmosphere or at least a non smoking area. The Clover bar fits into this category not that of smaller venues.

Spain is due to implement a country wide smoking ban in all public places in June 2010 but this is still being argued as many business owners see it as a death blow to already suffering bars and cafes.
