The Al Kasar located on Polaris World’s Condado de Alhama Golf Resort, which contains the Clover and Limonero has been joined by a new passage way. A new door is being fitted to join forces.

Whether Polaris World installed this entrance because of the winter months that are coming, which will make the travel between both establishments much easier on the public. We are glad that this has been done, as it may possibly give food service to the bar patrons as well.

Expanding service

This summer has been very busy so any improvements are welcomed. No sign of a coffee shop yet, but maybe next summer they can open one in one of the entrances to the supermarket for the early birds. They do have a bakery and fresh fruit to serve up. Just a thought.  The restaurant does open at 11 and serves coffee and tapas.

Condado de Alhama’s Golf Association breaks another record outing. With 48 Association player’s out on the Jack Nicklaus  designed Golf course Friday, it is gaining more members by the week. With more and more Owners arriving in the coming weeks their numbers will surely swell. If you want to join up and play, everyone meets at the Clover on Wednesday night which is located in the Resorts Town Center, the Al Kasar, then play on Fridays. If you don’t play it is still a great time to meet other owners. The Jack Nicklaus designed course having been opened for play for only 9 months and is getting great reviews. More Pro tournaments are scheduled for its second  year. The course is being managed by Olagolf, which has 25 years of experience in Golf Course Management and promotion in Spain.

Owners and guests at Condado De Alhama can expect water to be cut off due to Urbaser installing a new water chlorination filter on the resort. The water is expected to be disrupted between the hours of 8AM and 8PM today July 1st.

With the temperatures rising in Murcia, Spain, we all need to be aware of the possibility of fire. It appears that a control burn may have gotten away from a local in the rural area of El Saladillo just off the RM 3. The fire department had a helicopter scooping up water and dumping it in a rough area of land, it seemed like the only way to get this fire. Firetrucks were seen on standby to keep it from spreading over the road and disrupting traffic. No structures harmed,just the dry grass was burnt.

So lets be careful when smoking or lighting BBQs and be aware the ground is very dry.

La Isla water is getting rerouted. A large valve is set in place and section cut out of another.  This appears to allow the water to be redirected without any one noticing after it is covered up.

The work has been going on for a few days now so if you want to check it out, you had better hurry over there. With the cost of water being charged we should all be on the look out for unique work being done around Condado de Alhama, Polaris Worlds Golf Resort in the Murcia region of Spain.

We are playing golf from Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course tonight.  It is warm and the sky is blue! We catch a few players in the high grass, which is a challenge to get out of as you will see or have already had that experience.

As you will notice with the sunshine and water, Olagolf is keeping the playing course fresh looking. You also will see some other things that happen out on the course. We have captured one of the players balancing his golf club on his head, apparently it helps keep him focused. It just might be a new trend here at Condado. So tune in and post your comments here.

Lightning and thunder greeted everyone this morning as snow and rain made its presence known in the area. Most workers on site were finding shelter. The men out on the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course  were out in it, continuing with work needed. The glass for the Council Office/Tourist Office is being off loaded today. With what looks to be  glass dividing walls, the offices should have a modern look inside.

Off it comes

With the Sun out and shining brightly we started the day at the car boot sale and then drifted into the Port for the Market. Finished with the fun of shopping, we headed home . The sun must of decided to do the same, because it became overcast and I don’t expect to see it till tomorrow some time. Having said that I was able to get everyone some more TEE TIME Footage.
