Something many of our clients have been very successful with this year

Monday, September 29th, 2014

This year has been one of the most successful rental years for Condado De Alhama which is fantastic!

As we all know, its becoming increasingly important in 2014, for us to take steps to save energy. The AC guard card meter is something many of our clients have installed, and is very effective at lowering electricity bills and saving energy. What we have noticed is how much less the guests in our apartments are using the Air Conditioning, after having one of these installed.

It also works really well for non renters, as even your friends and family can be a little forgetful when it comes to the air conditioning. Which we all know can add up very quickly if its not kept and eye on. In fact, the majority of our apartments that have had these installed, do not rent publicly.

September, a whole different world on Condado De Alhama

Al Kasar market

People that visit the resort in July and August couldn´t imagine the difference a few weeks can make to the overall experience of Condado De Alhama. In a matter of a week we go from this (pictured above) to this.

It´s September, its cooler in the mornings and evenings but the days are still mostly warm and beautiful. Off the resort, this is the perfect time of year to enjoy some of the wonderful scenery of the local area coves and natural parks.

Cabo Cope and other coves like it are deserted this time of year but so beautiful to visit for the day with a picnic. Although the boat tours and tourist activities have come to an end in most of the towns there is still so much to do. Adventure Espuña, located at the hotel Mariposa offer some great days out full of adventure.

If your idea of a great holiday is peace and tranquility, you will love Condado De Alhama and Murcia this time of year.

A year ago today the Ladies Coffee Morning Group had their very first get together. During the year the ladies have not only been busy chatting or “gabbing” as Caroline Jones the founder of the group calls it, they have been busy raising money for CPR and encouraging others to do the same.

This Monday they will be presenting a cheque to CPR (Condado Primary Response) for 200€. Tormid from Naranjos 4 kindly donated a pram and a bike to the ladies for them to sell and put the proceeds to CPR, Simon Noakes of Penthouse 11 bought the bike for 60€ knowing the proceeds were going to a good cause and followed the girls lead by selling some unwanted toys and adding an additional 9€ to the pot. The ladies have been very creative and active in their fundraising ideas, a big thank you to them from the whole community. Eliza, the co-ordinator of CPR has been invited to attend Mondays Coffee morning so that the girls can present CPR with the cheque.

All Ladies visiting Condado have been welcomed into the group for what has grown into not only coffee mornings but a whole host of activities enjoyed with friends.    This week the Ladies Coffee Group will enjoy together the following activities;

Monday 22nd September Ladies Coffee Morning 11.30 am. will be held at the ice cream parlour.
Monday 22nd September 10.30-11.30. Free beginners Spanish with Maria Aliaga at the ice cream parlour.
Wednesday 8.30 pm Bingo in the Condado Club!
Thursday 25th September 1pm. Canadas del Romero Social and cultural centre. Spanish cooking 7€. Shared transport to be arranged on Monday.

Keep up the good work and keep having fun ladies. Well done Caroline Jones for bringing everyone together and making a difference.

Desperately needed rains arrive in Murcia

Monday, September 22nd, 2014
The sun'll come out tomorrow Condado xx

The sun’ll come out tomorrow Condado xx

Finally we have a little rain to add to our collection tanks, not much but a little is certainly better than none. Murcia has been recorded recently as one of the driest regions in the world, if that gives you an idea of how appreciative we are for the short lived sprinkle.

The rains didn’t keep the golfer off the course although a short break was needed in their game. Its always sad when people are taking their holidays and they loose a day of precious sunshine to clouds and rain but for the locals it was a celebration. More rains are due this evening but the forecast for the next couple of days is beautiful sunshine with temperatures in the high 20′s so back to the pools people, the sun’ll come out tomorrow.

A fantastic summer at Condado De Alhama

Thursday, September 18th, 2014

Summer fun

Summer fun

Summer 2014 was great! I say was, as though it is over.. but of course its not over yet. The sun is still shining and there are still holiday travellers arriving and departing on a daily basis.

It was a different year this year, one where we have seen the demand for rental apartments rise considerably providing owners more success with obtaining renters for their apartments. We at Condado De Alhama Services have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the resorts visitors and can report back that we have had nothing but brilliant reviews about the resort. Even Spanish tourists are finding the unique setting of Condado a good choice for holidays.

The restaurants, bars, apartment, swimming pools, golf course, parks and grounds of the resort reported as “excellent”. When asked the question, ALL guests said, they would return again to Condado De Alhama for another holiday.

kids swimming

This is important as security records show that in the month of August 90% of traffic was visitors to Condado with only 10% being owners.

The big changes I think are due to the number of owners that have persisted for the past 5 years advertising on public websites like holiday lettings and and receiving now enough good reviews to encourage people to give the resort a try.

September numbers, although much less than August are still up on last year so we can see growth here to.

Real estate agents on the resort have also done an excellent job selling fast the available apartments on Condado De Alhama. Having now sold out of 3 bedrooms leaving only a choice few 2 bedrooms available we can expect to have a busy winter as all the new owners on Condado set up their apartments ready for the next holiday season.

Overall a successful year for Condado De Alhama. party-at-Al-KasarBook flights and come back soon.
