Something happening at Sabores, you can smile about

The popular Sabores at Al Kasar has been under yet more renovations and improvements in preparation for Easter, the beginning of the long season on Condado De Alhama. The coffee bar and leather couch lounge has proved to be so popular that they have now decided to keep this area and to move the ice cream parlour into its own little shop window. The improvements look like this.

First they added a wall inside the coffee lounge and bar area to make a separate area and then..

The New Outside, Sabores coffee lounge AND 5 sabores ice cream parlour!

Now with only the finishing touches to go, they are sure to be ready in time for the season and everyone will be happy. Those that enjoy the comfort of the coffee lounge and bar and those that love the different ice creams.

Meanwhile, other construction projects continue at full speed to be ready for the season. The American Diner, the French restaurant and a brand new furniture store all coming soon…real soon. Only a few vacant units left at Condado De Alhama, Al Kasar. More on those projects soon as we take a closer look at their developments this week.

The EVOLVE Pro golf tournament that has been taking place on Condado De Alhamas Jack Nicklaus Signature Course this week has suffered due to the very strong winds we have been experiencing. Day 1, got off to a fine start with a 25 degree calm and sunny day but come day 2,  50MPH winds saw the tournament halted. Today the winds have dropped to a mere 30MPH so play will continue although the gusts are strong enough to cause it to be very challenging for the players.

The Evolve Pro Tour was established in April 2012. Although a new tour, its management team includes Wayne Hachey who established Germany’s EPD tour and ran the Hi5 Pro Tour for five years. The Evolve team has a fifteen year history of establishing and operating successful professional satellite tours in Europe and is now establishing one of the strongest platforms for young professional golfers from across the world.

Condado Excursions is a legal taxi and private hire company based on Condado De Alhama. David Ingman from Jardin 11 is the owner of the family run business and he has informed us that they have now extended their fleet of vehicles to include transportation for disabled visitors in wheelchairs.

In their fleet of vehicles they have a 5 seater which is Taxi No 10, Alhama de Murcia. Condado Excursions are able to do airport transfers and pre booked journeys and trips.

“We have 2- 9 seat minibuses ( 8 plus driver) for Excursions  and prebooked trips.  These are registered  and insured for hire so these are also available for Private Hire under contract. During the summer season this year we did many day trips to the Port of Mazarron  from Condado de Alhama– both day time trips and evening. Enquiries for other areas of interest would also be welcome.”

When the weather gets a little cooler it brings the perfect opportunity for you to explore the region of Murcia, with day trips planned to Cartagena , Lorca and into the Mountains -The Monastery at La Santa being a favourite.

Miguel Jimenez, one of Spain´s top golfers today visited Condado De Alhama to enjoy a round of golf on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.

Miguel Jimenez nicked named the Mechanic, spent the blazing hot day making his way around the course with some of the golf association watching on. Pictured below with Dorothy  Simpson of Condado.

A signing of tee shirts and hats as todays golfers enjoyed the celebrity visit as much as Miguel Jimenez enjoyed the course. Another good day for Condado De Alhama.

The club house project seems to be ramping up with more machinery and workers present today.

As you walk onto the golf course from the parking area the club house looks to be going on your left next to the first tee off. The small hill on the right has been levelled a little, but leaving the trees to allow for a view of the practise range.

Last year IRM announced that they would be moving the old sales office of Polaris World onto the golf course to become the club house…we can confirm that there is no work being done on that building yet to prepare it for the move but it is something we will be watching on a daily basis from now.

This is a project that is so important to Condado De Alhama, we have one of the best golf courses in Southern Spain…”All we need is a clubhouse” has been sung out so many times…

I have no doubt IRM will do us proud.

Condado De Alhama is getting a clubhouse! The permits are through and the construction on the site has begun. Today a small construction crew can be seem preparing the land. We have had so much good news on Condado De Alhama this year and it is amazing to see everything coming together and to be able to bring you this news.

As the world and Spain stands still, Condado De Alhama has come along in leaps and bounds… A club house adds the crown to the brilliant Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.

The Murcia region of Spain has been listed in a global index of the world’s best property markets to invest in.
