Fred Harrington, Condado de Alhama’s own touring pro is playing in the Evolve Golf Pro tour competition at Condado on the 24th 25th and 26th October. He will also play in another pro competition on the 30th,31st October and 1st November at El Valle. He will be on Condado from the 16th October preparing for the tournaments. Fred has been sponsored by Neil Simpson from The Clover Bar, Condado De Alhama. It would be lovely to see some of our residents and guests going out to support Fred during these tournaments.
He is not planning to give lessons during this trip, he will be concentrating on his game, but I am sure in the future he will. Good luck Fred from everyone at Condado.

Condado is going sports crazy as they host Octobers biggest and best tournament on Saturday 22nd. If you fancy a bit of competition, get your clubs out and register now! Olagolf do a brilliant job with all the courses that they manage in Murcia, but, Condado De Alhama Signature course is quickly becoming one of the best and certainly one of the most challenging on the circuit.

The golf course is still new but it’s reputation is already spreading, a club house is still needed on the course to complete it, but this is to happen soon.

If you are visiting Condado De Alhama during the summer months you can be assured of some good golf during your stay. The weather is beautiful most of the year with no shortage of sunshine to go around.

The Presidents along with the community administration and the security company in charge of Condado have made public their rules and protocol for entrance to the resort. For owners, you should take note of the following document that needs to be completed for any and all guests that require access to the resort. This form should be completed and brought with your guest, it will then be stamped and will allow temporary access for the period stated. All guests should be announced prior to arrival using the e mail listed on the document.

Many owners have been calling for security to be tightened and under the new security company put in place earlier this year anyone that visited the resort this summer has seen that this has been achieved. It is not unusual to see security on foot patrolling the gardens and paying attention to community rules. For owners and visitors, Condado De Alhama is a very safe environment to relax and enjoy a private resort atmosphere.

It was not clear to me the rules for daily guests wishing to use the golf course or the facilities at Al Kasar, guests that are surely needed during the off season times to keep the facilities operating.

A Thank-you to our presidents of the resort for the time and effort they put in on behalf of all the owners at Condado De Alhama.

The golf association organizers on Condado De Alhama Graham White and Barry Barker yesterday met with Olagolf Manager to negoiciate better rates for the association members and also to find out what the plans were for a club house. In this meeting they did manage to reduce the playing rates for the members by 10 Euros but the best news that came from the meeting was that of the club house.

The manager announced that Condado would have a club house overlooking hole 1, the club will be open by the end of October and would consist of a temporary concrete structure. Following the architects being out this week they claim they have the plans and are now ready to construct, not a wood temp building but a nice structure to house the club, showers and changing rooms. This is welcome news for the owners and players at Condado, with such a prestigious Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course we are all aware that we need a club house with all the services visitors and owners alike require Olagolf the managers of the course say they will provide this soon.
