The Hawaiian Night at Al Kasar got off to a shaky start, Polaris World had decided that they would reserve all the tables outside, not to first comers..as would seem smart, but to anyone that knew they could reserve one. Of course this was all done in a Polaris Hush Hush manner.

As normal, party seekers flocked to Al Kasar at 9.30PM to locate a seat only to find them all reserved…that didn’t go down well and after a short stint with the security it was decided unanimously that they guests seated would remain seated and the extra tables would come from… the restaurant.

Once everyone was seated.. the party began and was another great success with music and entertainment going on into the night. Grass skirts, Drinks, fancy dance moves and laughter flowed freely, well into the early hours of the morning.

It's ALL good.

Polaris World did a good job of upsetting another very important group yesterday as well, the golf association that played yesterday went for their usual meeting at Al Kasar for the days presentations to find, no drinks and no cushions. It seems the bar staff were way too busy wrapping trees to serve drinks.

What can you do, when in Spain do as they do in Spain.. sleep and smile.

Our weekly parties at Al Kasar, Condado De Alhama are becoming something everyone looks forward to. Every week it seems Polaris World goes a little further in the preparations and entertainment. Already today, despite the extreme heat decorations for the Hawaiian Party are underway.

The temperature today is 43 degrees, tomorrow is set to be even hotter. The evening is set to be a comfortable 28 degrees cool enough to dance the night away. If you are at Condado De Alhama or in the area, don’t miss what is bound to be a great night.

On a day when Murcia has been coming out of some pretty serious storms we were sent this by an owner on La Isla. It made us laugh and although we don’t normally post things like this, this time we thought we would.., everyone can do with a laugh tonight…

The Flamenco performance last night, brought in the crowds at Polaris Worlds Clover Bar. The Parking lot was over 1/2 full and the families were still walking from the neighboring gardens to come watch and enjoy the evening atmosphere. The weekends have proven busy at the Clover all summer long. Great entertainment and a  meeting place to catch up with and make new friends. Polaris Worlds Clover bar opens at 3 in the afternoon and closes.. well some say at 6 in the morning, so it is keeping the crowds entertained thats for sure.

With several weeks left in the summer, there is still time to jet over and get into the holiday spirit, before the Golfing season starts.

The fiesta started this morning with a cycle around the resort before heading to the football pitches for a Fiesta day football tournament. The football teams were made up of neighbors, friends and family and the organizers put the teams into age groups Senior…18 years and over, Juniors 14-17 years and Infants up to 13 years.

The elimination rounds will play and the finals are expected to be around 1.30PM. Lots of footballs being given as prizes at the event to lots of very excited players. A great turn out and start to Fiesta 2010 at Condado De Alhama, hosted by Neighbours of Condado.

So much more to come today, the weather is perfect for football and threatening to brighten up later in time for Siesta by the pool. More Fiesta day news and coverage from the Captains day event coming later.

FLAMENCO NIGHT WITH POLARIS WORLD AT THE CLOVER 10PM

August 14th will be a fun packed day at Condado De Alhama starting early in the morning the Condado Fiesta 2010 kicks off at 9.30Am with a track around Condado, skate, bicycle jog or walk round Condado De Alhama. 10.30AM it’s off to the football pitches for Football 7, click on the picture below for all the activities. Fun, games and a great opportunity to meet new friends and neighbors. The evening at the Clover will be a night of Flamenco starting at 10PM….ish if this night is anything like the other nights put on this summer by Polaris World at Condado De Alhama, be sure to be there it is bound to be a lot of fun.

And if that is not enough, the Condado Golf Association are having their Captains Day Presentations starting at 8PM in NARANJOS 4 there will be a Hog Roast available for 8 Euros per person, but a hog is only so big so you will need to reserve your bit of pig by e mailing Barry at barrybarker90@yahoo.co.uk

So a full day it is, a day of fun and games and an evening kicking off in Naranjos 4 with the captains day presentation, then off to the Clover for Flamenco at 10PM..ish till the early hours of the morning. I bet the resort will be peaceful come Sunday morning.

The flower power hippy night was a big success. If you missed it, you missed a great night. The party started at 10..ish, actually it was 11.30pm before the entertainment began but when it did everyone attending was very entertained. Spirits were high and flowing freely, the bar service was good and with three bars open it was much faster getting a drink.

A female singer, a DJ, and dancers whipped the crowds up quickly and kept them partying well into the early hours of the morning. A few fancy dress items were also being passed around for a bit of fun.

Party preparations

Tonight at Al Kasar is bound to be a hippy night to remember. Party preparations are underway with decorations and stages set. Male dancers, 70’s music, fancy dress and lots more to entertain the party goers tonight. The fun will kick off at 10PM…ish. A few improvements tonight to make it easier to get a drink, there will be three separate bars, two inside and one outside with three cash registers speeding the drink process up a bit. There will however be no table service as the crowds are expected to be heavy. If you are at Condado tonight don’t miss this chance to squeeze into your old hippy gear and head on down to Al Kasar and “Make This A Night To Remember” Get ready, baby tonight…….gonna make this a night…okay you get the point. Peace!

Come early to get a couch

Party in hippy style this week at the Clover. Come on down to The Clover Friday night at 10PM dressed in your best flower power. Should be a lot of fun so we will see you there, come early and enjoy one of the many cocktails now on offer or maybe a jug of Sangria, our personal favourite. It’s all good.

As an alternative this weekend, how about a night out at Hotel Mariposa for an evening of dancing to the sounds of Martin Ross.
