Olagolf have posted new numbers and email addresses for reserving green fees on the Polaris World built Golf Resorts, Condado de Alhama and Mar Menor. For Condado de Alhama the number is 968 32 80 08 and for Mar Menor the number is 968 04 17 65. The email address is reservasgolfalhama@olagolf.es which appears to be for both golf courses.

There is no better place to be this weekend than in Spain. With all blue skies blessing us with hot sunny days and the world cup finals bringing out the celebration in everyone, where could be better?

If you are lucky enough to be in Spain this Sunday you can be sure of a good night of football excitement and entertainment. In the Murcia region the cities and small towns are using the municipal areas, erecting large screens and showing the World Cup finals for all to see and enjoy. The atmosphere is sure to be great at any one of the events.

Wednesday night our own Clover bar was buzzing with excitement as Spain took on Germany, the crowds could be heard all over Condado, VAMOS ESPANA!

This Sunday is bound to be a busy night in the Clover as Spain gears up to bring home the cup, so grab your Spanish flag and support the team and the country we have all grown to love.

A little word of warning, come early Wednesday night was packed and Sunday is sure to beat that crowd.

Olagolf continues the upkeep on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course located at Polaris Worlds Condado de Alhama Golf Resort in Murcia Spain. Workers could be seen clearing the over growth down near the driving range nearest Penthouse 7.

The showers that we have been getting lately in Costa Calida is helping out as can be seen in the above photograph taken earlier today. With showers expected the next day or two, temperatures have lowered to make it comfortable to play 18 holes. Condado de Alhama’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course located in Murcia Spain is moving ahead with the electrical connections to operate the water irrigation on the Golf Course operated by Olagolf. The Electricians are out tugging wire to the connections and we should have the the generator removed once these connections are in place.

Now we wait to see about the new club house that is said to be operational by September. It will a supported by golfers and residents alike. So,  ”It’s all good.”

Golfers are out on the course early today. The weather is great again today here. Olagolf is keeping up with the course and things are looking good.

Work continues at Polaris Worlds Condado de Alhama Golf Resort, located in the Murcia region of Spain. Workers pictured below are replacing one of the electric motors that aid in the lifting of trash. The trash is stored under ground until the trucks arrive to remove it off site.

Also an update on the land clearing along the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. With 2 small dozers in action the wild grass is being removed between the Driving Range and Hole 2. Where they go from here … we will have

We are playing golf from Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course tonight.  It is warm and the sky is blue! We catch a few players in the high grass, which is a challenge to get out of as you will see or have already had that experience.

This is how you get out of the grass.

As you will notice with the sunshine and water, Olagolf is keeping the playing course fresh looking. You also will see some other things that happen out on the course. We have captured one of the players balancing his golf club on his head, apparently it helps keep him focused. It just might be a new trend here at Condado. So tune in and post your comments here.
